Osceola Turkey Hunting in Florida
Anyone who is in search of acquiring a Grand Slam must come through Florida to get their allusive Osceola.
Because of supply, demand, location and quantity, it is by far the most expensive bird of the four, but mark my word, well worth it.
There is nothing quite like going from the brown up North down to lush of central Florida in mid-March.
The Hunt
Located on 2,000 acres of Florida bays, pines, palmettos, and oaks, outside the small town of Lake Placid, the ranch boasts some of the best hunting land in south Florida.
Turkey hunting starts with breakfast before dawn and in Florida you can chase birds all day long until sunset.
In addition to the 2,000 acres ranch on which the main lodge sits, they also have extensive leases and additional private ground on which to turkey hunt.
After a successful day of hunting, enjoy a stay at the Lodge. Rest in one of the 10 guest rooms, relax with a quiet moment on the wraparound porch or by an open fire, and feast on a fare prepared by our in-house chef. Other amenities include internet, and satellite tv.
Once you fill your turkey tags you will have the option to try your hand at bass fishing the ranch ponds, or you can add a hog hunt to your trip.
You are sure to enjoy your time at this old Florida hunting ranch!
