Carmen Mountain Whitetails

The Carmen Mountain whitetail deer is a small desert whitetail very similar to a Coues whitetail deer, both in body size, horn size, and behavioral habits.
The species evolved in what is now referred to as the Sierra Del Carmen Mountain complex, which is comprised of several noncontiguous mountain ranges in NW Coahuila, Big Bend National Park and Chinati Mountains.
The Hunt
Hunts are conducted in partnership with large, 30,000 acres or more, multigenerational heritage ranch families in Coahuila Mexico.
The ranches are primarily located in the Sierra Del Burro and Carmen Mountain ranges with a total of 600,000 acres of deer habitat.
Hunts are fully guided out of clean, well maintained vehicles. At the client’s discretion hunts can be conducted out of a high rack, spot and stalk, or by glassing from vantage points.
A diverse range of landscapes lends the ranches to allowing 100% success rates with all the before mentioned options.
To date clients have maintained a 100% success rate with multiple clients each season often optioning to hunt a second buck.
