Columbia Blacktail Deer hunting in Oregon

Columbia Blacktail Deer are a mainstay of this operation, but these hunts are also offered in combination with Elk and Black bear.

Capitalizing on Oregon's unique Youth Hunt opportunities, Don Trump Jr. and his son Donnie III travel west to engage with this elusive subspecies of mule deer.

THE HUNTING

Our Columbia Blacktail hunts are conducted across several ranches, each with large populations of deer. You will be looking for mature bucks in the 17 to 20 in+ class. In addition to the private ground, there are also some excellent public lands in the area with extremely low pressure and incredible hunting. The terrain on the private ground is very easy rolling country, with the forest ground being more steep and brushy, with open, old growth timber.
