Florida gators

Alligator hunting in Southern Florida

Depending upon the season and hunt booked, you may be hunting gators on public or private land.

Public land hunts are subject to the seasons set by the State of Florida, generally Mid-August through September.

On private land gators can be hunted year round.

The hunt will consist of scouting for and spotting gators, once you find a good gator you will use rod and reel to catch the gator, and employ a bang-stick to dispatch the animal.

Bow hunts are also available, as is the opportunity to shoot a gator with a rifle
