Horses, Wall Tents, Chuck Wagons and Campfires…take a step back in time on this FE Outrider Exclusive adventure in the hills of California. This is an experience like no other, combining an exciting horseback hog hunt with an authentic Cowboy Camp experience.

This super exclusive adventure is only offered a few times a year. Each camp can only accommodate 5 hunters max at any time, and is only offered to private groups, so it will only be you and your friends, hunting, horseback riding and gathering around the fire to swap stories under the stars.

THE HUNTING

You will arrive at the lodge on the first afternoon, sight in your guns and saddle up for your first afternoon of hunting. After which you will return to the lodge, enjoy an amazing meal aroound the campfire.

The next morning after breakfast you will leave your bags at the door to your room and saddle up for a ride into the hills, hunting pigs throughout the day. A midday siesta under the oaks with sack lunches always hits the spot.

At the end of the day you will arrive at our cowboy camp outfitted with wall tents and a camp cook excited for our arrival. Your bags will be there in your tent waiting for you, then it’s a night around the campfire, enjoying hor d’oeuvres and local rib-eye steaks.

After a quality evening of laughter around the fire settle into your bed with all the sounds of the city long gone. The next morning is much more relaxed, taking a minute to enjoy a coffee with the sun rising in the oaks. An easy morning hunt based out of the cowboy camp will fulfill your time on the ranch.

These trips, though hunting, are about the experience in an incredible place that few get to enjoy. .
