The hunt is at the legendary Hearst Ranch in San Simeon California. The ranch is 86,000 acres and has been privately owned by the Hearst family since 1865.

The castle that was completed in 1920 was a staple for everyone famous or powerful at the time.

Roaming the grounds around the castle were animals from all around the world to impress the guests of the ranch. Due to a fire in the 1920s the animals escaped. For the last 100 years the ranch has managed these populations and they are actually recognized by SCI as free ranging herds and have their own classifications in the record books.

Still to this day the exclusivity of the ranch has maintained and is now open to just two hunts a year.

THE HUNTING

The hunt is 7 days staying at the historical Hearst camp site, where the family would stay before the castle was built.

You will be accommodated in a camp that resembles western cowboy living but holds the comforts suited for anyone, with a queen sized bed, wash basin, WiFi, and fully stocked bar. A bath/shower that can be exposed to the landscape or kept private.

Meals are prepared by our very talented chef, utilizing local cuisine harvested off the ranch and from the 17 miles of coastline.

The hunt is for One Trophy Roosevelt Elk, One Trophy Sambar and One Trophy Aoudad, as well as unlimited wild boar, excellent fishing is also available.

Up to 4 guests are welcome and all the guests are welcome to fish and shoot wild boar, or just enjoy the ranch and local wines.
