Black Bears over Hounds in Arizona

Being one of only a handful of outfitters permitted to hunt the tribal lands of the Arizona White Mountain Apache Reservation, our partner is able to offer incredibly high success rates, as the sacred ground is largely unhunted the majority of each year.

With access to 1.6 million private acres, these tribal lands are home to a remarkable number of mountain lions and some of the biggest bears in the state of Arizona.

 

THE HUNTING

Hunts are conducted behind packs of professionally trained, experienced hounds that are overseen by expert guides who have spent years running these mountains.

With terrain ranging from mild to extreme, this hunt offers the option to hunt the type of terrain best suited to the hunter, so it is a great option for hunters of all skill and fitness levels.

Black, Chocolate, Red, Cinnamon and Blonde phase bears all occur in this area.
